Vladivostok International Airport

Vladivostok International Airport is strategically important to the region’s air transportation system. Due to its geographical position airport is on the cross-roads of the Russian Far East and Asia-Pacific region.

  • The international consortium consisting of the "Basic Element", RFPI and CAI manage the airport of Vladivostok

  • In 2016 the number of passengers amounted to 1.85 million passengers. The new terminal has a capacity of 1360 people per hour, or 3.5 million a year. Passenger traffic at the airport grew 9% in 2016 year on year and is expected to hit two million passengers in 2017.

  • The extensive development and expected economic growth in Russia’s Far East have been drawing interest to the region. The group consortium aims to achieve the airport’s full potential so that in the medium term airport’s traffic to reaches 5 million passengers per annum.

  • Airport Vladivostok was recognized as a winner in the nomination "Best Airport 2016" (in the "regional airport" category up to 2 million passengers per year) by the "Russian Air Gates" national award.
