Description of activities:
The Aviacor company builds, repairs, services and supplies parts for the Tupolev Tu-154M and Antonov An-140 passenger planes.
Site: www.aviacor.ru/

Aviacor began work in the fall of 1941 when production of the Il-2 fighter-bomber was moved from Voronezh to Samara. It produced the Tu-4, Il-28 and Tu-98 warplanes during World War II and until 1958, and then went on to make the Tu-114, Tu-154 and Tu-154M airliners.

Aviacor's main line of business today is the construction, maintenance, servicing and parts supply for the Tu-154M and An-140. The plant is one of the few in Russia that possess expertise in the serial production of civilian and military aircraft from its own components and parts.

Avicor today is an integrated support center for the Tu-154, providing a broad range of services.

The enterprise's development strategy is linked mainly to Aviacor's integration with United Aircraft Corporation (UAC). Plans for that integration include:

  • Full series production, sale and post-sale servicing for the An-140
  • Production by Aviacor of components and parts for other UAC programs (Tu-204/214, An-148, Il-112 and others) based on Aviacor's competencies
  • Integrating Aviacor's engineering center with the UAC's universal design complex.
