Ingosstrakh paid about RUB 233mln to private customers in Moscow and Moscow region

Over the week from July 27 till July 31, 2009, Ingosstrakh in the Moscow region paid about RUB 233mln for retail insurance.
In particular, over RUB 2.2mln was paid under motor hull insurance for the damage of Volvo FH in an accident on the Rossiya motorway (Tver region). The money was transferred to the account of the service station - partner of Ingosstrakh.
Over RUB 2mln was paid to the owner of Lexus LX 570 that was stolen from the country house in the Pushkinsky district of the Moscow region.
Ingosstrakh compensated over RUB 2.9mln for the fire in a residential building. Unidentified persons put on fire a two-storeyed private house in Sergiev Posad (Moscow region). The compensation was paid for supporting structures, finishing, engineering equipment and private property of the insured person. The foundation and supporting walls were not damaged by fire. It must be mentioned that the insurance protection cost the house owner only RUB 21 808.29.
Also, last week Ingosstrakh paid compensation under motor hull insurance to the amount of over RUB 1.8mln for the damage of Scania P340 in an accident on the Moscow-Chelyabinsk motorway.
