UC RUSAL

United Company RUSAL is the world aluminum industry leader. It is a fully integrated company which mines bauxites and produces primary aluminum and alloys. The Company has a presence in 19 countries in five continents. It produces approximately 11% of the world's aluminum and 13% of its alumina, the raw material for aluminum.

UC RUSAL was formed in March 2007 from the merger between RUSAL, the SUAL Group and the alumina assets of Switzerland's Glencore. The Company today comprises 15 aluminum smelters, 12 alumina refineries, seven bauxite mining enterprises and three foil mills. UC RUSAL's enterprises have more than 90,000 employees.

UC RUSAL has customers in more than 70 countries. The Company's main consumers are transport, construction and packaging enterprises. UC RUSAL has its own research and development and design capabilities and possesses RA-300 and RA-400 technologies.
