Transstroy is one of Russia's leading holding companies specializing in the construction of transport infrastructure, including roads, bridges and crossings, rail roads, airports, sea and river ports and hydraulic installations.

In the last ten years, the holding's companies have built more than 100 large facilities. They include the reconstruction of the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD), construction of the Third Transport Ring with its unique Lefortovo Tunnel, as well as construction and renovation of Berezhkovsky, Kiyevsky and Andreyevsky bridges in Moscow. Transstroy is building flood protection facilities in St. Petersburg; an oil terminal in Primorsk and trade port in Ust-Luga, both in the Leningrad region; the Adler-Krasnaya Polyana road and the Tuapse port in the Krasnodar territory; and a rail road to the Chiney ore deposit in the Chita region. It is also modernizing the Kazan, Pulkovo, Blagoveschensk and Nalchik airports.

Transstroy is currently renovating the runway at the Sheremetyevo-2 airport and the Vnukovo airport complex, both in Moscow. It is building the Zenit Stadium in St. Petersburg; the Tommot-Kerdem-Yakutsk section of the Berkakit-Tommot-Yakutsk railroad and the Ulak-Elga rail road to the Elga coal field, both in Yakutia; and the Imeretinskaya seaport near Sochi.

Transstroy enterprises operate in Russia, the FSU and other countries, including Ukraine, Kazakhstan, India, Turkey, Syria and Morocco.

Basic Element and Island Global Yachting sign memorandum of intent to operate world-leading marina in Sochi

Basic Element, Russia's leading diversified investment company, has today signed a memorandum of intent with Island Global Yachting (IGY) to manage a world-leading marina complex in Sochi, paving the way for significant employment and investment opportunities in the region. IGY is also considering an option to become a co-investor in construction of the complex.
