Earlier this year, a program to train highly skilled workers in the construction industry was launched in Krasnodar. This program is called "Workers of the New Generation" and is geared towards students of local technical schools and vocational colleges. Over the course of three years students from secondary educational institutions undergo modern training. The training methodology is created by Glavstroy specialists and enables the students to develop the professional skills they will use working in Glavstroy facilities. Over the course of the program, all students must participate in group practical training at Glavstroy facilities. The training program as well as the technical support and essential equipment are provided by Glavstroy.
The construction of large, complex structures such as bridges, tunnels and roads entails the use of modern construction technologies. Frequently, specialists proficient in these technologies do not exist in Russia. To this end, in collaboration with Strabag, Basic Element developed an internship program for engineers and mid-level managers at the facilities of the Austrian company.
Over the course of a few weeks, Russian specialists become acquainted with the theory and practical aspects of the construction of complex infrastructure assets.
