Glavstroy is a vertically integrated corporation founded in 2006 by merging several companies with fifty years of operations behind them. The Corporation consists of four divisions uniting dozens of industrial and construction units: Glavmosstroy - Construction Division, Mospromstroymaterialy - Production Division, Glavstroy-Engineering Division and Glavstroy Housing and Development Division.
Glavmosstroy was founded in 1954 and is the oldest of the companies owned by Glavstroy Corporation. In the fifty years of its existence, Glavmosstroy has built ¾ of Moscow's modern housing stock, which is equivalent to some 150 million square metres.
 Currently, the Corporation operates in Moscow and the Moscow Oblast, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Krai and other regions of Russia.
The Corporation is headquartered in Moscow and employs about 20,000 people.

Its major current projects include:
- Moscow Region: the Medical Centre of Moscow State University (about 44,000 square meters), Children's Onkology, Gematology and Immunology Center (about 70,000 square meters), the Michurinsky residential complex (over 210,000 square meters), the Podolskie Prostory residential complex (about 870,000 square meters of housing and social infrastructure) and Govorovo office and residential complex at the intersection of Borovsky Chaussee and the Moscow Ring Road (over 400,000 square meters);
- St. Petersburg: Yuntolovo and Severnaya Dolina (more than 6 million square meteres of housing and social infrastructure), the reconstruction of Apraksin Dvor (about 350,000 square meters), construction of Clinic No.2 of the A.M. Nikiforov All-Russian Centre for Emergency and Radiation Medicine under Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations (about 70,000 square metres).
