Transstroy To Build “Zenith” Soccer Stadium in St. Petersburg

Transstroy, part of Basic Element's Construction Sector, has won the tender to construct "Zenith" soccer stadium in St. Petersburg.  "Zenith" will be the city's first stadium dedicated exclusively for soccer games, and it will be among the most technologically advanced facilities in the city.  The stadium was originally designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa, one the renown masters of Japanese high-tech.

Sochi Olympics’ First Transportation Facility

Glavstroy to Build Barracks for Army Personnel

Glavstroy, a company of Basic Element Construction Sector, has been awarded a contract by the Ministry of Defense for design and construction of barracks for the Military Academy in Solnechnogorsk, located some 70 km to the Nord of Moscow.

BaselCement started production of high-tensile crushed stone.

June 4, a modern mobile crushing and grading complex with the capacity of 1 350 000 tons of crushed stone per year will be put into operation at Alagirskoye deposit of sand-gravel mixture. BaselCement will invest 16 million USD into the start of crushed stone production from boulder rock at the deposit of sand-gravel mixtures.

BaselCement will start to produce cement in Leningrad region. The Company will invest 83 million USD in reconstruction of the new asset.

BaselCement starts to redesign Pikalevo Alum Factory (Leningrad region). In April 2008 redesigning of two furnaces at Pikalevo Alum Factory from alum to cement production was started.
