UC RUSAL TO INCREASE ITS STAKE IN YAROSLAVSK GRK TO 100%

UC RUSAL, the world's largest aluminium producer, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to acquire 50% of OOO "Yaroslavsk GRK" (Yaroslavsk Mining Company) from Russian Mining Company (RGRK). Following completion of the deal, Yaroslavsk GRK will be 100% wholly owned by RUSAL.

UC RUSAL is pleased to announce its plans to increase the total production volume of its Packaging Division by 25% until 2014, from 80,000 to 100,000 tonnes per annum, amounting to 5.3% of the world's total foil production (excluding China).
